Filmmakers, Jawad Wahabzada and Jon Bougher raise awareness for child labor victims in Kabul, Afghanistan.
This is ridiculous how u guys are talking so immature instead of finding a solution and giving credit to Jawad Wahabzad for his actions and his dedication for his country to help the poor kid. It has nothing to do with USA, Pakistan or any other country. Plz keep politics away from here. His point is to only help unfortunate kids.
Bravo and thank you!
do you really think that child labor and the abuse of women will stop when these people are left to themselves?
This pamiri jerk needs to be censored for posting these nasty pictures on this web site. I get awfully sick and tired of looking at them. They have no place here!!!
As long as the American occupation of that country stays, so will child labor! Anyone with half a brain knows how much these U.S. contractors love child labor as it enhances their profits enormously!
How many of the children in this clip were working for US industries again?(correct answer zero) I do believe you are missing the point of the film being made. It's to try and rally help for these kids who are working to support their families, many of which have lost fathers/brothers and other family members during the Taliban regime and related events.
I'm sure under Taliban oppression child labor was never an issue. most families don't have to work extra hard when radicals come in and kill their loved ones, terrorize populations, extort honest people, violently discriminate and corrupt just practices out of falsely justified claims to their faith. No, the Taliban never thought of preying on the youth, never thought to corrupt children, never strapped IED's to kids and women or gave them guns and forced them through fear and decet to turn them on their countrymen... things were peachy before the US showed up.
But remember all that is in the past is not the point of what you watched. The point is the displayed need of these people and you figuring out how to help them.
Don't be so angry =).
Thank you! Well said.
This is a mix of LIES and Propaganda, just to cover the crimes against children committed by the US military. If the children must work so hard it is because they have no choice, the country is destroyed by the americans and most of their relatives were killed by the americans. Education is not the solution, they need to work now as they need to eat now. A degree cannot provide a job if there is no economy like in the west.
Salerno, you are as uninformed as Dan. I invite you also to come here to Afghanistan and learn that the US military is not killing children so indescriminately or willing as you infer. The Taliban and their ilk have killed THOUSANDS more in this country, both before and after allied forces arrived, then all other actions combined. Get out from the safety of your comfortable home and come here and do something constructive. Be sure to avoid being shot or kidnapped by the Taliban only for being a "western infidel". Please come. Please Please Please!
and lets never include education in the solution!
Dan, I am an American contractor currently in Afghanistan. I would like for you to provide me your location so that when I return I cna PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE. How dare you accuse me and my counterparts of using or approving child labor. You are a disgrace and an uninformed insult to me. Come over here to Afghanistan and find any instance of American contractors using child labor. You will fail, because it does not exist. These children tear at my heart when I see them, but they mostly have to work either because their brothers and father have been killed (by the Taliban) or their fathers are having to pay off a debt.
The anti-islamic propaganda we can see even on this site is ironically responsible for the terrorisic action we have seen recently in Norway. Let alone the wars and the economic problems of the average american people.
Well said, salerno. Thank you.
Do the Taliban, the insurgents and terrorists see what they are putting their children through? They(NOT UNNOTICED BY GOD)have also killed many children(ONE HANGED MOST RECENTLY)and turn their young into hateful people and away from GOD"S WILL AND WAY for THE FUTURE! THEY HAD BETTER RETHINK THEIR IDEOLOGY!
Absolute what? The teaching of hatred for mankind, as far as murderous and even suicidal acts to your young IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE! WHY DON'T YOU ALL JUST DO IT YOURSELF INSTEAD OF TURNING YOUR YOUNG AGAINST GOD! DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT GOD WILL DO TO THOSE WHO TURN YOUNG CHILDREN AWAY FROM HIM AND HIS WAYS OF LOVE, FORGIVENESS AND MERCY FOR ONE ANOTHER!
indulging in a little traitorous prattle? Tell us more? Dates? Location? Preferred body count?
the mod er ators know who you are and where you are though it will take a court order drawn by the Fed er al Bure au of Inves tiga tion to make the C N N news bureau turn you in. Anonymity allows one SUCH "Freedom" of Speech though you certainly pervert and ruin its intent and the freedom it should represent.
A Seditionist and traitor. What a guy!
Taking part in a debate is not traison, wich requires a material action.
your lousy spelling invalidates your point.
If you invalidated one of my posts because of miss spelling, that applies to you as well.
(our) delightful friend and you are advocating murder and treason.
stuff it, fool.
You always confuse spelling with concepts, form with substance as you are ignorant.
I did not threaten anyone, YOU did.
I merely pointed out that your comments can and will be taken ans treasonous or seditious (or hateful and bigoted at a minimum) in these times of murder and physical and ideological brutality. You are part of the problem, not part of a blessed solution.
Code – you confuse a prediction with a threat.
No I don't.
Shiver me timbers, them's some great ifnormaoitn.
