Lashkar Gah: Inside the new Afghanistan

NATO wants to give Lashkar Gah - the capital of the volatile Helmand province - over to the Afghans to handle security from July onward. But allegations of police brutality, Taliban prevalence and violence abound. Is this really the Afghanistan we want to leave behind. CNN's Nick Paton Walsh reports.

Note to all trolls who would distort the truth:

The Big Lie (German: Große Lüge) is a propaganda technique. The expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, for a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously."

Come on Michele G, don't you think that the right-wing thugs in Washington know that? They learned quite well from Hitler and Goebbels and are now distorting the truth about Afghanistan and Iraq. The truth is, is that the Afghans do not want foreign rule but the right-wing thugs keep telling us otherwise!!!

Lashkar Gah was a normal city with the Taliban as they let the Emergency hospital working. The americans closed the hospital. It was opened again later, but for the people the violence of the Afghan policy and of the americans is a problem as they are hindere from going to the hospitalò and are beaten, sometimes even killed by the american death squads.

What do you get out of your lies salerno? You know you will be condemned don't you? There are no American death squads going around beating and killing people like the Taliban use to do and still does!

Hey Michele G, aren't you forgetting those filthy creeps who operate those godless drones, dropping 500 lb. bombs on defenseless people and at least 70% of them are civilians? And what about those cursed Apache helicoptors whose pilots slaughter people mercilessly from above? And the list goes on!

American death squads are a criminal reality as denunced and reported by the revolutionary Afghan women association.
On June 22 a squad from an halicopter killed two farmer while they were irrigating their fields.

Anything to make NATO look good. Now we see where our hard earned tax money goes while in this country, schools and libraries are closing, roads and bridges falling into disrepair and the right-wing thugs on Capitol Hill now want to cut our Social Security and Medicare even further. Now Barack Obama has adopted the Republican habit of putting second things first!!!
