Canadian missing in Afghanistan

Canada's government on Monday confirmed the disappearance of a Canadian citizen in Afghanistan, saying he traveled there as a tourist.

The Canadian government is also aware that the Taliban on Sunday issued a news release and video purported to be of the Canadian, said spokeswoman Lisa Monette of Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs.

CNN has not independently confirmed the authenticity of the video.

Christine Theodorou contributed to this report.

The truth is one, men call it by many names. Some worship a god of hate. A god that hates infidels, heathens, idolators, suni, shia, christian, even abram's son. For such a person, hate is his / her only way to express the love for his ingroup. That is the ideology that s/he was taught and imbibed. For such persons a truth that is one but called by another name is frightening. For it might prove that his / her belief system is just plain cruel, hateful, untruthful, unkind, perhaps even the work of evil. He then must deny the truth that is before him. So we see that a worshiper of a hateful god is a hateful person. But we can not hate such a person because most humans do not worship a hateful, wrathful god. We worship a god that is truth, is justice, is love (satcitananda). And that universal Truth that binds us together, regardless of the name by which we call it, (Tat) is the road to peace. Hariaum

    Racist, islamic bigot.

Your foolish babbling bigotry simply reinforces our HIND! HIND! HIND! HIND! rejection and repudiation of EVERYTHING you spew. I use the term SPEW quite deliberately. It is not communication, or enlightenment in ANY way. Hindus should take pride in their heritage if only because it is NOT islamic. You and it are disgusting filth.

p3c3 – Good try but he does not listen to ANY thing but his own voice.

he is an islamic trouble maker trying to foment more cruelty and strife. It's what islam does to its people. It makes them stupid and cruel. He will simply post a snotty rebuttal that only he can read using his stupid (code).

      Nice try, however!

p3c3 – I agree with Yacobi, as your assumption about Islam is wrong. Islam is peace when you accept it. If you move war against Islam, or against whatsoever, there is no peace.

If islam is civility, be civil.

What Canada needs to do is to quit supporting the NATO forces, declare it's neutrality and then start talking to the Taliban and try to arrange a peace between the Karzai regime and the Taliban. Why they don't do this is beyond me!

Dan – I don't understand too why the canadian do not act as you said. It is very simple. The suggestion from US is too strong apparently.
