Pakistan dismayed at U.S. claim it was lax on bin Laden intelligence

Pakistan reacted with dismay Wednesday at CIA director Leon Panetta's assertion that it had not done enough to bring Osama bin Laden to justice, saying there is now "total mistrust" between the United States and Pakistan.

A senior Pakistani intelligence official was reacting to reports that Panetta had told House members Tuesday that Pakistan's role in determining bin Laden's whereabouts was troubling.

According to two sources in a closed door briefing, Panetta told lawmakers "either they were involved or incompetent. Neither place is a good place to be."

Afghan Taliban were not linked to AlQaeda, but AQ helped them to fight the US occupation.

First there is no Afghan and Pakistani Taliban, this is the definition of sick people, they are one here in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Alqaeda and Taliban are together and ruining their barbarism and atrocities against people of the country, both of them (Taliban Alqaeda) are ruining the Pakistan’s agenda and they are defaming the name of Islam by doing of actions against Islam and humanity, both of them are wild, and the Animals are better than them, at least the animals give milk for the humanity, and Taliban and Aqaeda except killing and destroying know nothing, which is not acceptable for the people who think for human being, who has dignity and respect to other without any discriminations and bias respect ethnic , region, color and etc

we know Pakistanis how and what they are, they just know money, they do not have believe on human being and trust on positive ways, they just want to get the control of Afghanistan by ISI through supporting of their slaves here in Afghanistan which one of them is Karzai, we should not trust on Karzai too if we are committed to remove Alqaeda and Taliban, Karzai is playing game against the international forces and he is trying to confront people against international forces in Afghanistan by his statements under the agenda of Pakistan.

We know better that what Karzai does , and running whose agenda, People are well aware of who does what, who is supporting people and who is destroying the country, so why people are happy on killing of Osama, except those people who thinks like Karzai,

USA should cut all AID and kick all terrorists from Afghanistan (seems no terrorist left in Afghanistan anymore, all are living in Pakistan for the past 7 years now ) then Pakistan will not have any $ and that's the end of Terrorists.

Terrorists are only running for $, if no $ from USA and no $ from Afghan Drug then they are dead 😀

Perhaps Pakistan will consider "redeeming" itself by finding and turning over the other wanted Al Qaeda criminals before the U.S. is compelled to do so.

Pakistan is cooperating to much with a terrorist country like USA. They provided USA with informations and even suspected AQ members (many innocents), but USA did not share informations got after torturing them. How can they blame Pakistan if they did not share informations ?

    Dismayed??? Hardly surprising.

Can they see the walls of the Barn from Inside it? They must have been "dismayed" for quite some time, 6 years or so, it seems.

Ray Davis is dismayed at Pakistan.

    Dismayal kinda sucks, doesn't it?

Pakistan does not controll itd territory and its people. There is a disconnection betwen the military , the government and the people. USA pushed Taliban in their country, creating problem.

Exactly....the US caused all the problems in Pakistan, too.

Gee. Everything is good now between Pakistan and India?

Come on Salerno. You cannot always blame everything around you on the US.

You blame USA for Pakistan problems with India, but it is wrong. USA is responsible just for exporting terrorism into Pakistan as they had not attacks before the wars. Probably some terrorist activity against civilians was made by CIA agents in Pakistan.

Are we expecting too much of Pakistan and the other countries out there who say they are our allies? Are we asking them to choose our way of life over their own ancient traditions? Do we need to understand that they will adhere to their own ways inside their own country and cut them some slack? How close are the needs of the United States and Central Asia now that he is dead? Can we trust them not to make a mess of things out there that concern us through India, China and Russia. They all have nukes and Iran is racing to join them. How do we keep a lid on ancient conflicts?
