Man opens fire on Americans in Kabul

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) - At least six American service members were killed Wednesday when a man opened fire on troops and a "gunfight" ensued at an airport in the Afghan capital, military officials said.

A NATO official backed off earlier reports that eight coalition service members and a contractor were killed, saying that the alliance could only confirm six International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) troops were killed. It did not disclose their nationalities.

The incident - which occurred at the Afghan national air force compound at North Kabul International Airport - stems from an argument between an Afghan pilot and an international colleague, officials said.

Said Afghan Pilot Ahmad Gul was deadly against Taliban or Alqaida therefore had been a part of Afghan security forces and was bravely fighting against killers of innocent Afghans. However being a proud Afghan he was probably not happy with the arrogance of US cow boys and probably could not afford humiliation on his own soil. His friends and colleagues had seen very positive points in his person as an honest and professional man but as they feel, Americans might have insulted him therefore has reacted so severely. Such incidents may grow with the passage of time till a single US soldier is on Afghan soil.

Bangash – You surely hit the point. A proud Afghan cannot accept arrogance and humiliation on his own souil.
Americans still have a colonialist and racist menthality.

Even the soviet "helped" Afghanistan against the British colonization from late 1800 to 1990. Afghanistan was ruled by the PDPA. British, Soviets and USA used Afghanistan to fight each other through divided Afghan people. Do you think USA is fighing to help the Afghan people ? Even the Soviet donated billions of dollars to Afghanistan, but with the intention to control it, like the Americans. I think Gilani is right suggesting Afghan government to seek other allies like China, more respectfull of human rights as they did not attack other countries like the USA.

    USMC, Forever,
Hey should be taking care please of those, they are living like human being in Afghanistan, who do not like Taliban and their barbarism and atrocities, neither they like Taliban and nor Pakistanies and their slaves in Afghanistan, but it is the USA and the international forces mistakes that always support those who support Pakistan and Taliban, Iran Sudi Arabia Russia, we are against all sort of occupation but we know that the attack in Afghanistan by the soviet and the helping of international forces is completely different, so why we support the international forces, Russian attacked on the country without asking and considering to the united nations rule and regulation, but the int forces have their disciplines and rules and we praise them for their services for the country, Taliban and their Supporters Paksitanies and some also in Afghan government if are not agree does not matter, because they are not fighting for the country, just they want and trying to implement the Pakistan , Russian Iran Sudia Arabia agenda here in the country, now its is clear not for Afghans but also for the all world and is the time to take strong decision against them, regards to all

It is positive that other 9 americans were killed in Afghanistan, to help them to understand war is wrong and makes people nervous. A discussion can quickly turn into a shooting. We can also see that Afghans are very well trained if just one was able to kill 9. American soldiers are not very popular, as they got killed in Iraq, in Germany and in Afghanistan by different kind of people. Noone was an AlQaeda member. Old AlQaeda almost disappeared but created a great number of imitators impossible to contrast, as their actions are abrupt and unpredictable.

If you provide the explosive devices for Taliban then its clear they do not have problems with you, and if you prevent them to kill and slaughter people then they would have problem with you, and before the int forces coming to Afghanistan we better know and have the experience of being Taliban in the country, except killing and destroying the cities they did not know any thing else and now is also Taliban are wild , not changes have occurred in their behave, in Bamiyan in one day they slaughtered many people and meanwhile in the hole of the hill in Bamiyan province in Darrai Foladi where there were all women and children, and they escaped from Taliban and hided themselves in a hole, as Taliban knew that there is a lot of women and children massacred them in once, then think wise angle, when was good, during the Taliban or during the intn forces are in Afghanistan,

Emergency aid workers did not provide esplosive, may be CIA and Davis did to keep the war going on. Emergency workers were accepted by ALL Afghan people, Taliban and non Taliban as they are NEUTRAL. They have no interest other than doing their job. When the american military closed the hospitals, the Afghan people protested and got the reopened.
As you are paid by the americans you are not credible about the violence committed by Taliban.

Italian aid workers in Afghanistan with Emergency had no problem with Taliban, even if they were non-muslims. They had problems with US military. This is the demonstartion that Taliban are not so evil as they are considered by US propaganda. The Revolutionary women of Afghanistan (RAWA) are against the Taliban fundamentalism, but against the US occupation too, as they said things are worsened after US invasion.

Most western countries are against the "occupation" and desire to leave (but here is the catcher) as soon as the mission is complete. Complete the mission and off they go. Pretty simple, really.

once upon a time in America, a man named "Bush" said USA is for Americans then why Afghans are living in the USA.
So Bush decided to attack Afghanistan and own it and allow US citizens to live there & kill all others. that's what happening there right now 😉

Now all Americans are living in the USA, oh i forgot to tell you what USA stands for.

USA = United State of Afghanistan. USA had to invade Afghanistan because USA is a trademark and is registered in the USA (C). that's why Bush thought Afghanistan is a state of America and Afghans invaded it, thank god Mr.Bush toke over and now Americans are living there happily ever after.

I think you could be wrong Riza. May be he is not Pakistani, but you are surely obsessed with them, as thought even me being Paki. Influemce of Pakistan is way exagerated, as Taliban were created bu Saudi Wahabe and US, ( but the americans disowned them when they were no more usefull). They invaded Pakistan, wich is baring the burden of their extremization. The probleme is you have different people and different tribes.

Killing of people at all is not a good action, while killing of those, who are sacrificing themselves to protect Afghans and humanity from the barbarian and wildTaliban Alqaeda and their back Taliban and on the other hand this event is easily could be happened as we have such president, who does not know what to say and how to response the events, several times it have seen, he stated very irresponsible regarding the though issues which is going in the county, he just implementing the Pakistan ISI agenda in Afghanistan, with presence of him we would have seen many the same events too, and this pilot could be crazy or Taliban affiliated that we have such people, even in high authority and these people are clear now who they are,

The bank massacre was the job of a man under some drug effect. Wars are a bone for criminality too. Do not blame the Taliban for that unnecessary killing. Wars are stressing and people loose controll. This is why you need peace talking with the true Taliban leaders, not with impostors.
High intensity war ? It is not possible, when the enemy is not intensively present.

Saying that not everyone is happy is euphemistic. Just like sayng that a president who have to show his birth certificate to demonstrate he is american after 5 years of presidency, means that not everyone trusts him. He could be the Osama secret brother as his name is very similar.

Or, maybe he was high on Heroin or Hash? I can dream up reasons, too. Maybe some in the room was making it with his wife or his Thursday night boyfriend.

I like the contrast in accounts between ISAF and Taliban. It doesn't seem to difficult to identify the guy as the Taliban seem to indicate he was an impostor.

Taliban protected afghan people fighting against the Soviet before and against the American now. Americans don't care afghan civilians, and even collected their bones after having killed them. They fired from helicopters against people including children collecting woods. Even afghan women (RAWA) are against US occupation.
