They went down the drain. The fact that so many Republicans and "blue-dog" Democrats as well as so many Tea Partiers get elected to office proves the same! The majority of the people have lost their moral compasses. Another indicator is our high rate of crime which is getting ever higher.

As an Army Brat I'm not shocked – that many bored troops have GOT to be kept gainfully occupied but this was idiotic. Loved how the big guy always said how the admiral and captain had no knowledge, etc. He knew a courts-martial was in his future after making those videos – very self-destructive. And if the two top ship drivers knew nothing they should be up for a captains mast for that – it's their job to know everything that goes down on that ship. They have to have ears and eyes at all levels under their command. If the admiral did not have his flag aboard that might exculpate him but not the captain. These were all adults which means they had to know what they were doing was wrong and detrimental to the service. They've made us look like silly fools in the eyes of the world.

He should be court marshaled and a new commander be put in place immediately, before the ship leaves for it's tour of duty!

There is no reason for that. Theyre are plenty of good men out there and i serve with the first infantry 456Bt. We are the best and the navy might need a new commander but it isnt needed.

Nothing these bozos do surprises me. After all, they're a mere product of the society that produced them.
