Soldier accused of Afghan sport killings faces second day of hearing

A hearing for a soldier accused of killing Afghan civilians for amusement enters a second day Tuesday at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state.

Military officials will determine if there is enough evidence to court martial Pfc. Andrew Holmes over the allegedly premeditated deaths of three Afghan civilians.

Holmes is also charged with smoking hashish, possessing a dismembered human finger and wrongfully possessing photos of human casualties. He is accused of conspiring with Spc. Jeremy Morlock to shoot at a civilian and then toss a grenade so it would look like the soldiers were under attack.

Tell me why YOU THINK that most law enforcement officers target blacks when you have black law enforcement officers are also killing "black" violators of crimes but are NEVER made such a huge deal.. or when a black police officer kills a white drug dealer for almost committing vehicular manslaughter, the blacks just say that the white guy had it coming.. Most of my good friends are black military and civilian cops who dont look at the racism as you do.. it's ignorant people like YOU who are scared to step up to the plate and go "OVERSEAS" <– how you spell it.. to fight side-by-side with your fellow "BROTHER/SISTER" regardless of race. You have "one" valid point.. the war is NOT JUST overseas but here in the states, yes we ALL have problems with any type of crime that occurs here in our own land, but when you have Muslim Terrorists attempting to kill you or ANYONE in your family JUST because your an AMERICAN.. NOT because your White, African, Hispanic, Asian... White, Brown, Black, Yellow, Purple, Orange..etc. They ONLY care that your American and don't agree with the Jihad. I have walked side-by-side and have sat down with many of them over there and have spoken with some who dont care who you are or what you do back in the states, they dont give two rats asses that you have any kids or a family, you carry the message of the U.S. and for that you shall be killed. So Before you go off on any type of Law Enforcement here in the states or any type of racism here, think about what you would be dealing with if you would be a REAL MAN and go overseas and face the true facts of "racism". Also it is sad about what happened to those personnel but there is one thing.. Dead witnesses/victims cannot talk, so HOW DO YOU KNOW what their side of the story was, quit being ignorant and jumping to accusations on what the story was if you are NOT a Law Enforcement officer on the scene..You stay behind your liberal desk or couch and SHUT YOUR MOUTH until you know the REAL STORY..

This is real face of USA and these Cow Boys have done exactly for which America is known. Now what DINDY will comment on this aspect of war in Afghanistan? This is known to every Afghan and Pakistani national that their deaths and destructions for the last three decades has been the result of US GREAT GAME in this region. No doubt USA has a license to kill any one in this world but Afghanistan is probably proving different from the rest of the world as here all such killers in world politics have faced defeat and have been buried in this soil. SO this court proceeding against the few such killers may not solve the problem therefore Afghans may decide this case on merit and save rest of the world from such barbarism.

No, if convected, he will get much more than that. There is no place for that type of conduct in the Army. There have already been Soldiers prosecuted and imprisoned from both wars. War is an ugly thing, but that type of intentional inhumanity has no place on our side.
