Is this a joke? This is the deal the Americans are offering to Marjah: Lose all your opiuim income that wa supporting half the population and instead be ruled by the central government, one of the most corrupt regimes the world has ever seen. I wonder what people will choose.
That's my nephew. Outstanding work Anthony.
The reporter featured is really brave being on the front line with these marines.
Chances of victory in Afghan are gloomy, indeed, if you consider the past, that U. S. leaders ignore: Vietnam I, the Philippine war, 1898 to 1910, followed with 40 years of occupation. Vietnam II, Korea, 1952 to ____, 59,000 dead. Vietnam III, Indochina, 1962 to 1973, 59,000 dead. Vietnam IV, Iraq, 2003 to ___, 5,000 dead, and now Vietnam V.

How many days or WEEKS does it take to capture a ghost town? Its a good thing the American taxpayers are paying for this foobar. The Taliban will return the moment the troops leave and hand out bigger bribes to the clansmen in Marjah than the American troops did and business will continue as before.
Great piece on 1/6 Alpha company – these marines are such tough guys. It's also so awesome that Atia is on the front lines!
It's good to see that some of the locals are happy to see U.S. troops.
Is that Mary Rogers behind the camera? She is amazing!!! Tell her I said hello, she is an old dear friend!
