Officials: Top Taliban commander captured

The Taliban's top military leader, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, has been captured, senior U.S. and Pakistani officials told CNN. This is a "huge deal," CNN National Security Analyst Peter Bergen said. "This guy ... is the number two political figure in the Taliban" to the group's founder Mullah Mohammed Omar.

    I have a question...I've heard Baradar is on trial, is he being tried as a terrorist and will his offenses be considered war crimes, or is he being tried as an everyday criminal??

    Why is this not front news story? Why is controvesy the only news that is top news. If terrorism is topping the polls, why not give people the opportunity to hear and digest this story.

    Unity is strength. US AND Pakistaan troops can achieve their goal together and today they have proved it from arresting one of the top terrorist leader.
