Well, America and their EU allies are not here in Afghanistan because of their love with Afghan people, They can never win in our country, they will continue to die and spend tax payers money for nothing. Afghanistan was much peaceful under Taliban Government.

Good luck to these men and women! it's a great thing to see so many countries stand side by side for a good and righteous cause! We may have lost sight of what needed to be done over the years, but finally we are in Afghanistan en masse and are ready to take care of business! Also, loving GOD, whether Jewish, Christian, Muslim, WHATEVER is the way to the Lord. Being kind to your neighbor, helping those in need, standing up for what is right! So Christians, Muslims, Jews, let's take care of this Taliban and Al-Qaeda disease!

    God bless and GET SOME!

I'd rather be in the frontline as a qualified human soldier than a qualified canine equivalent as I think I can perform better even at my own demise – no big deal as we get recycled (the essence/soul) asap.

Any way I'll try my best to do the job done and come back alive to my roots!

All we want as fighters in the frontline is we need to know the main reason as to why we are here (again and again) = get a fatal hit and fall into a dream and once more, go on to do it all over and over again – live, fall into a dream and be back again to fight some more?

We must never forget 9/11 because the next attack on American soil will be ten times greater. Thanks to our troops because they volunteered to keep America protected. Thanks to President Obama for kepping the fight going in Afghanistan. The Taliban do not deserve to live, for they provided a safe haven for Osama bin Laden to plan 9/11/01. For our troops, take care of buisness and come home safely. You still have tremendous support for what you are doing.

Operation Moshtarak. A good operation and a great surprise, not expected at this scale and until much later. I trust the tactics will progress and this will take out the bulk of reactionary terrorism ... Jeremiah 18 the NRSV version of this gives a statement that I wonder is meant to be Am I ? the one to do evil, the translation may have turned this to a fierce judgmental God common in much middle era translations carrying on the warlike god that early tribes often adopted from their own actions, not agreed with by Jesus and New Testament theory, as it says God sent the son into the world not to condemn, but to save. So Am I ? because today we seem to see a massive effort to bring safety to thousands. God says although people behave wrongly He still has Mercy, so all forms of persecution of other peoples ends, this today would be well within those laws, precepts, principles and grace of the men in the field. semptimus, wow, this from a person who has probably not ever known a lack of freedom, who has probably waken every day in a bed with a meal in front of him, who probably thinks it is his right to sit in judgement, you only have, because of the things those in front of you have laid at your feet, have sacrificed to give you, so that we could all remain free. if you think for a moment that this is not necessary than you have never left the comfort of home. i have found that those why cry the loudest are those who do not know. my son is in iraq, he used to think like you, than he grew up! may god bless ALL who are there.

Semptimus do you care about the way the Taliban treated the Afghan people? Do you think all people are created equal and should have the right to say how they want to live or do you think that the Islamic laws are the way one should live? Do you not think that Jesus' way of life of forgiveness and repentance is the way a sinner should be treated or should the sinner be lashed, amputated or killed? You should know that you too are a sinner, and will be judged for your sin if you do not ask Jesus to forgive you! He is the only way to the Father!

In response to septimus severius. You are partially correct, so that shows you are not an absolute idiot. We (the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) were definitely dragged into this war as a result of the MURDER of 3,000 innocent US civilians. Therefore we have everything to do with being involved. Extremeists must be shown that unprovoked attacks on the people of any country will not be accepted without retaliation.

O~K septimus severius – they are given a job to do most prob would choose not to be there but ITS THEIR JOB!! They are given orders! Granted there are many corners of the world that need help some just are not allowed to ask for it due to control. I'm lucky to live in a place where i can live my life in relative safety – despite outside efforts – with only a government to blame or those that vote for that government. I can remember living in fear when i was younger some people forget about the troubles the UK has had in the past – we are no different to anybody else really. Think before you type hun.
