A snowfall in Kabul this week means an opportunity for sledding and fun for children. Winter is school vacation time in Afghanistan. (Photo courtesy Fardin Waezi of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan.)

I have been around the world several times including two tours in Afghanistan... I can say with all truthfulness that kids are cute everywhere in the world... There is a special level of hell reserved for those (regardless of nationality) that cause or allow to be caused harm to children.

What an awesome look on those kids faces Kids having fun is kids having fun no matter where they're from. Better than running from bombs and gun fire!!

My first reaction that children are the same all over the world when we have snow, but unfortuanately their lives not as normal as our children, let us all hope and pray that they
    will improve
