Two female MPs brawl in Afghan parliament

Two female members of the Afghanistan Parliament got into a physical fight Tuesday following a discussion of rocket attacks from Pakistan.

General Nazifa Zaki, a former army general, threw her shoe at fellow MP Hamida Ahmadzai, video from parliament showed.

The video, posted online by TOLOnews.com, shows Zaki leave her seat to head toward Ahmadzai, who throws a water bottle at Zaki when she gets close.

Zaki punches Ahmadzai, and the two begin to tussle.

Arian Yoon, another female member of parliament, said Zaki punched Ahmadzai in the face.

Other members of parliament quickly broke the fight up.

What began as a discussion took a turn for the worse when one of the coalitions in parliament, including members who are accused of fraud, wanted to summon President Hamid Karzai about the rocket and artillery attacks from Pakistan.

Ahmadzai called for two of the country's vice presidents to be summoned.

That's when Zaki attacked, Yoon told CNN.

The Pakistani government has denied responsibility for recent deadly rocket attacks in Afghanistan.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari said the attacks were not carried out by the Pakistani army, according to a statement from Karzai's office following his meeting Zardari.

RAWA is the oldest political/social organization of Afghan women struggling for peace, freedom, democracy and women's rights in fundamentalism-blighted Afghanistan since 1977.

Nuc – the term "RAWA" is censored on the main CNN blogs, as it is impossible to type that name in comments.
It is something US do not want to be known by the public, as it is counterproductive for american propaganda, because they show how most afghan women are against US occupation.

Every society has disagreements, disputes and arguments between people and ideologies. A while ago Afghanistan was mainly using guns and bombs to settle their disagreements, disputes and arguments. Now they are using shoes to do so. A shoe fight is better than a gun fight. That is progress. And any progress is welcome.

Those ladies/men who have no control over their selves should be kicked out of the Parliament. This is not a zoo, these people can't even control their anger so who gives them the right to even have such a position. So embarrassing.

"Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari said the attacks were not carried out by the Pakistani army"
Kind of like how Osama Bin Laden was definitely NOT hiding in Pakistan, as stated by the Pakistani government repeatedly over the last ten years.
The Pakistani army may not have carried out such attacks directly, but there can be little doubt that the groups who are carrying out said attacks are being hidden and sheltered in Pakistan, by the Pakistani government. The afghan government has a legitimate grievance with Pakistan but lacks the resources to pursue the matter militarily without our support, support their not likely to get in the current political climate.

Also, if we're trying to get technical here, the United States Military has been fighting in Afghanistan, not just the United States Army. It's sad we have Americans who have the right to run their mouths, but have absolutely no idea about the people and organizations protecting this right. conclusion: PEOPLE, SOME PLACES ARE NOT BUILT FOR DEMOCRACY. It's like forcing communism on America. These people have been ruled with an Iron fist from ancient persia to mongols, to now. The do not get it. This "country" is still 90% undeveloped, and is STILL controlled by local tribal regions. If i'm right, England had the same kind of system 1,000 years ago. Correct. And the US should have learned from its mistakes. Afghanistan cannot accommodate democracy, nor Iraq, and not Libya. Dictators are best for these people, otherwise religious oppression will ensue, like in Iran.
And sadly, even America might not be suitable for democracy. We can't even come close to balancing the budget because everyone wants money for themselves. If candidates don't promise more spending and less tax for everyone, then they don't get elected.

Ishaq:587 "Our onslaught will not be a weak faltering affair. We shall fight as long as we live. We will fight until you turn to Islam, humbly seeking refuge. We will fight not caring whom we meet. We will fight whether we destroy ancient holdings or newly gotten gains. We have mutilated every opponent. We have driven them violently before us at the command of Allah and Islam. We will fight until our religion is established. And we will plunder them, for they must suffer disgrace."
Qur'an:8:65 "O Prophet, urge the faithful to fight. If there are twenty among you with determination they will vanquish two hundred; if there are a hundred then they will slaughter a thousand unbelievers, for the infidels are a people devoid of understanding."
Ishaq:326 "Prophet exhort the believers to fight. If there are twenty good fighters they will defeat two hundred for they are a senseless people. They do not fight with good intentions nor for truth."
Bukhari:V4B52N63 "A man whose face was covered with an iron mask came to the Prophet and said, 'Allah's Apostle! Shall I fight or embrace Islam first?' You are distorting those verses those verses are related to the pagan Arabs who tried to annihilate the monotheistic faith of Islam. To all you white evangelical racists who mock the name Allah you are offending millions of Arab Christians who in their king James bible god is allah besides all the Jews who call god Allah . Everyday in the middle east anyone of all faiths refer to their deity as Allah . Talking to right wing Christians is like drawing water from a mirage. Deaf dumb and blind are they eqaul to those who see. If Islam believed in Wiping out Christians would they have lived as 2 to 5 percent minorities in these countries for centuries I think not. When I go home to visit Palestine and Jordan the Muslims and Christians are brothers and they live in peace .

i ASK you Mohammad why then do we here so much persecution of Christians within most every Muslim country? AND furthermore WHY and HOW can the Muslim world put Mohammad above the SON of GOD which is the only way to receive forgiveness along with the HOLY SPIRIT? Your so called prophet had put himself as the spirit of truth that according to the Koran was what Jesus had proclaimed would come to HIS followers after HIS resurrection and NOT some 600 years later to a new religion that unlike TRUE CHRISTIANITY has produced nothing but killing and war between NOT only those who do not belong to Islam, BUT also most of the Muslims throughout history! IS THIS THE WAY OF GOD AND his SON JESUS? ALSO if GOD has thrown the devil and 1/3 of his angles here to earth and not completely put them out of existence WHAT gives YOUR FAITH the authority to kill those of us who do not belong to your faith and FOR THAT MATTER the fallen angle and his followers? ARE YOU NOT SURPASSING GOD'S JUDGMENT AGAINST THOSE WHO WANTED TO OVER POWER GOD? IF THE KORAN WERE THE TRUE WORDS OF GOD THERE WOULD BE NO VERSUS IN IT AS WRITTEN BY petercha NOR WOULD HAVE CAUSED ALL THE WARS he HAS WRITTEN BELOW! GOD SURELY HAD KNOWN WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ISLAM WOULD PRODUCE AND WOULD NOT ALLOW GABRIEL TO RECITE TO YOUR PROPHET THE KORAN, WHICH ACCORDING TO MOHAMMED WAS RECITED 7 DIFFERENT WAYS! THE NEW TESTAMENT OF THE HOLY BIBLE IS THE ONLY WAY GOD WANTS US ALL TO LIVE SO THERE WOULD BE NO MORE POWER AND CONTROL OVER PEOPLE, BUT LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER AS GOD DOES!

Dan – You are wrong in many parts of your statement.
1 – Islam does not put Mohammed above Jesus, as all the prophets are equal and ONE in the spirit even with different bodies and characters. ADAM QADMON (El-Insanul-Kamil) is equivalent to all the other envoyeds.
Mohammd's prophecy completed the jesus one, like every prophet did before Mohammed.
2 – The violence never come from the prophets, but from their bad followers or "false doctors" like jesus said.
False doctors were present among the christians and among the muslims, as well as wars and violence.

Wrong T – some religions did go through enlightenment and turbulent times but no religion or group of people has ever been SO out of touch with the rest of the world as islam. Islam is a cancer on the world and has no successive governments. They deny rights to women, gays, mentally and physically challenged and even to those they deem not islamic enough.

Did you know that our founding fathers spent 15% or more on fighting islamic terrorism? They had continual peace talks with these lunatics yet it never worked. From 700 AD on the world has been at war with islam because they subjugate people – they even have a word for it "Dhimmi". Google it. This is not just the pains of a young religion; this "religion" (death cult) has been around for 1300 years.
