Official: 2 Americans killed while training Afghan policemen

Two American NATO-led troops were killed by an Afghan Border Police officer Monday, a local official told CNN.

The victims were teaching a group of border policemen in a meeting room in Faryab in northern Afghanistan, according to the deputy governor of Faryab province, Abdul Sattar Bariz.

The gunman escaped on foot, running toward the desert, Bariz said.

"Initial reports say that there were about six Americans inside the meeting room and only two of them have been killed," he said, adding that he did not have many other details.

NATO's International Security Assistance Force said earlier two NATO troops had been killed after an individual wearing an Afghan police uniform opened fire.

I just see people fighting against the US intruders to defend their country. I don't see any wellfare, on the contrary US -Nato are sizing arms and collecting them from the people, who is unable to defend themselves. This is not freedom, but oppression. Let alone the thousands of civilian casualties caused by US intervention even the killing of unarmed children from helicopters !! This is why people in Kabul are so nervous and are protesting in so violent way.

True heroes are those people who provide welfare for others and who respect others and who sacrifice their lives for others in the way which not manipulated by different kinds of discriminations and people in the country know better who is the heroes and who is the traitors, from what have been going on the ground since long time, its clear who just knows killing and destroying are traitors and you now better who they are , they are Taliban ISI Alqaeda and their supporters. Who sacrifice their lives to protect the people from barbarism and brutality of Taliban and their supporters, they are the heroes ( international forces)

This war needs to end! My best friend just lost her son in law Quadi Hudgins to this war. He leaves a beautiful wife n 3yr old little girl. To know that so many kids will never see their parents again to something that is so unnecessary breaks my heart. how do you explain to a baby that daddy is never coming home? something has to give...send our men and women home NOW! My love and respect to all our soldiers!

Only 2 were killed, anyway these jihadists are true heroes as it is hard to fight against a military provided with hogh thech weaponry. Anyone can be a soldier with those weapons, and it does not require any courage to do it.

true heroes are the people who fearlessly cross boundaries far way from home and sacrifice to save others back home. SALUTE TO OUR TROOPS AND MAY GOD BRING THEM BACK HOME SAFELY.

Crossing boundaries is the problem as it is how the wars always began. Afghan people cannot end the war, just the invaders can do it.

        Pamiri – 1 – I am not Pakistani
2- You are a dog- washer paid by the US (this is their wellfare), I am not paid by anyone.
3 – Afghan people are protesting against the US for civilian killing and offense to their tradition, so they know
very well how are the americans, but in the opposite way than you think.
4- international forces are cowards and baby killers.

Again, you cannot trust MUSLIMS, so who cares how many we kill now. People wake up, the world is going to be at WAR with Islam and Muslims in the future so lets just kill as many as we can now and not worry about it. All of them Men, Women, Children, their rats cats and dogs. All of them.........

DINDY be realistic as they are fighting for contractors of different corporations under MIC, responsible for wars all over the world. HOW you expect those responsible for disturbing world peace. DINDY your personal feeling shows your kind human heart by supporting an end to this bloodshed in this region and calling back all soldiers but this is against the interests of MIC, HOWEVER VERY MUCH IN THE INTEREST OF US AS A NATION.
