What's wrong with this Hegseth anyway? Can't he tell right from wrong? Anybody with half a brain knows we have no right to be in that country!

Hey Bubba if a murderer were found to be hold up in your home and you did not give him up to police then charges of harboring a fugitive would be held against you. So our forces are just upholding the law by going after the Taliban and al Qaeda!

Use your own ID phony boy or do you think you are getting under my skin or something? Because it only makes you the fool and liar and I know God hates those who continue to sin! And God says when you break one of his laws it is like breaking all of them!

To answer your question Bubba, the man is most probably nihilistic. Right or wrong means quite little to him. Sorry, but that's the way it is with some people!

@Greg so it's right to harbor terrorists and allow them to train and plan attacks from their country without any repercussions?

When did the US ever terrorize Iraqi children? You are a propagandist and a sick liar! God knows how badly Saddam treated not only his people but also giving $25,000 to families that would have a family member put on a suicide vest and blow himself up inside Israel! Salerno you cannot justify Islamic extremism and God will give the victims their justice come judgment day!

US terrorized Iraqi children from 1991 when hundreds of them were killed in a refuge, in 1998 Clinton bombing during desert fox rightly before Christmas, and during the last war after 9/11. Saddam helped the family after they lost some relative. It is a good action as they were in bad condition being refujees after Israel tooke away their houses.

Hegseth is like a Nazi a mass murderer. During WWII we killed many of people like him using esplosive devices and I hope he will find the same death. People have the right of defending themselves from the intruders. They are cowards using WMD even against children. In Falluja Americans used MK77 against population and the UK deputy Alice Mahon resigned for the scandal and the shame. I suspect US was involved with the kidnapping of the Italian journalist Sgrena as they killed his rescuers simulating a mistake.

Dan – Capturing terrorists is one thing killing civilians including women and children is completely different story. By doing so you walk down to the same level of delinquency of AlQaeda and even justifie their actions.

We do not go out and kill civilians period! The Taliban and their terrorist allies hide behind them and they may get hit by mistake but we DO NOT GOT OUT TO KILL CIVILIANS! THEY DO AS YOU SEE IN THE NEWS TODAY IN IRAQ!

Dan – Wikileaks showed the US military not only killed civilians but also covered those killing.
Additionally even CNN reported many of those killings, let alone Al-Jazeera that also showed images.

If any civilians were killed by NATO forces the most likely scenario was that the cowardly Taliban or their terrorist allies were using them as human shields which I am sure happens all the time!

Dan THIS STORY OF HUMAN SHIELDS IS ANOTHER LIE SPREAD BY US MILITARY. THEY WERE UNABLE TO SHOW ANY IMAGES OF CIVILIANS USED AS HUMAN SHILEDS. The perpose is to cover their intentional civilians killing, but Wikileaks showed the truth.

Islam is the most tolerant religion as it does not preclude people following other religions from Allah forgiveness and salvation.
The problem is the modern Islam. The wohab and other violent forms are too modern. The other problem is US violence supporting the violent form of Islam. Hegset is a fanatic soldier without education.

If Islam was so tolerate why then do followers attacks Christians and Churches in many Muslim states? Also why do they give the death penalty to Muslims who convert to Christianity? Another thing why do you have to lie to protect Islamic extremism? Another thing salerno, Captain Pete Hegseth is more educated than you in every aspect of life!

Dan – I esplained why Islam is tolerant. I esplained also how the west supported the modern violent Islam. People like you in the west are responsible for violence against christians as you created and supported that violence. US must stop supporting that kind of violence and stop killing people including civilians like they did in Iraq (Falluja massacre is paradigmatic) and in Afghanistan.

        January 19, 2011 at 3:18 am | Report abuse |
      • Dan in Lafayette,IN

There was no massacre in Falluja, war is war and people die and if the Sunni die hards would have put down their arms there would have been no fight for Falluja. And now I've got to say that I hate a two faced Islamist that once hated Saddam's regime and the way he ruled but now since Iraq has become a free a democratic nation stands up for Saddam and his regime! And in no way have you explained why Islam is a tolerate religion because reality proves otherwise! Also in no way does America go out to kill innocent civilians, and surely not the way Islamic extremists do with their bombings and suicide bombings!!!

        January 19, 2011 at 2:21 pm | Report abuse |
      • salerno

You attacked a country and it is normal people fight back. There is resistence still now in Iraq, Even the Saddam's enemies like Al Sadr fought against the Americans becouse they killed iraqi civilians and nobody wants to be invaded. I have doubt democracy can work in Iraq. Reguarding Islam I esplained that it is the most tolerant religions becouse is the only one admitting people following other religions can get salvation. The modern Islamic deviations are caused and supported by US aggression, becouse violence can only be addressed by violence.
