U.S. troop levels

In 2009, President Obama announced an increase in U.S. troop levels that would happen through the end of 2009 and into 2010. See how the levels have increased even as U.S. troop levels in Iraq fall.

I'm looking at that Iraq line and I'm just not seeing any "surge". Was that just marketing? My concern is that we're ramping up numbers in Afghanistan, an actual measurable surge, and it would be best not to pin our hopes on a strategy that is just pretend.

The graph mirrors the substantial decrease in returning federal revenues back to the States from which that GDP comes from. The utterly corrupt and depraved Republican administration of Bush-Cheney took Trillions of dollars and moved it overseas instead of placing that into States domestic projects and programs. A FULL 2/3's of America's Total Economy is derived from funds circulating from the American people to the Federal Government back to the American people. Bush-Cheney diverted that flowing back to the American people to fund nefarious projects overseas.

American international tourists are not safer, they are in fact in far more danger of being kidnapped, robbed and murdered as a direct result of Bush-Cheney's shadow policy's.

American citizens in America are not safer, they are in fact in far more danger of dieing due to a crumbling infra-structure, and lack of federal regulations on Big Oil, Gas and Coal corporations as a direct result of Bush-Cheney's shadow policy's.

In the US the recruiting standards are you can join with a rather disturbing criminal record, even with "past" gang membership and drug use. Then surprise surprise you get what you recruited. To those that give justification to their crimes as soldiers and attributed to being in combat that is bunk. Thousands of soldier serve and dont resort to such crimes in the battle field regardless of the situation.

If the United States wants to be at peace with the Muslims as it claims,it first needs to cease and desist from it's hidden agenda in the Middle East and pull all of it's troops out of there as soon as possible.Telling this Rev.Terry Jones in Florida not to burn the Coran won't quite do it.
