Roy... you're open to answer my original question. This isn't about finding WMD's or Vietnam or ANY of the crap that you guys come on here and say. We're talking about people's lives. If a soldier were killed... the family WOULD BE NOTIFIED. You make wild claims that 35 Americans were killed in this attack, 60 were killed in an attack last week... WHERE ARE THE NAMES? The dead are sent home and buried after being killed in combat. Local newspapers would know about those who are killed. If 60 American soldiers died in one day, we would know about it. You can put down your "loose change 9/11 conspiracy" video and learn some common sense.

You get your information from pro-jihad websites, and you come on here and claim that the military and CNN is the one misleading us?

There where no deaths. I was there, cars blew up, some motorcycles, and a ANA was injuried, thats it, thats all.

I'm disgusted that people have stooped so low and have such a lack of maturity that they would post false information about troop deaths. You're probably sitting at home in your mothers basement reciting some jihad propoganda waiting for your mother to cook you dinner. You have no idea what is going on over here and what some people are giving up for these afghan people. You disgust me, and if you're talking about greedy people its the Taliban. I've been through dozens of villages listening to the same story about disaffected teenagers from some mud huts that decide to be "holy warriors" and kill their own people because they're trying to better themselves. I've also seen the oldest, most frail looking man in my life stand up to some of these thugs and he trusted us to help him (which we gladly did) and he doesn't have to worry about teenagers riding their dad's stolen moped trying to raise hell throughout the countryside anymore.

Obviously knuckleheads like Steve are completely brainwashed by their American govt. They don't want to know how the spin doctors of the US army can spin a story to hide the facts and the reality on the ground. Remember Iraqs "weapons of mass destruction", where are they? Wake up Steve, stop being in the mushroom club (kept in the dark and fed crap by the US army, govt &CNN)!!!

I find it quite dubious that the right-wing media will answer your question any time soon. They're trying to glorify this war the best they can.

Dear Eric, can you explain why you are posting a different story? Which elements do yo have to correct what CNN has reported? If you are just joking, please stop it.

Remember that CNN is embedded (in bed) with the US army so they are restricted as far as reporting the actual situation. What I have posted is the truth and nothing but the truth. Save this post and refer back to it in 20 to 50 years time when your Govt decides to reveal the truth, as in the case of Vietnam.

The difference today is that there is this thing called the INTERNET! If that many Americans were killed in a single attack, local news websites would pick up on it because obviously the families of those would be informed and funeral services would be arranged. You don't hide deaths of people for 50 years and then it comes out... what happens when the battalion/division of the soldiers comes home and 50 people are missing? Does the military say "oh... they're still there" ?

You guys are immature, sick-minded, and disrespectful. If you live in America, then maybe you should leave if you don't appreciate the sacrifices that people make so people like you can type dumb stuff on CNN blogs.

As many as 35 Afghan and US-NATO soldiers were killed and injuried with more than 170 vehicles and motorcycles destroyed as a van filled with explosives detonated in the parking area of PRT building on Wednesday noon, May 26, 2010.

The massive explosion, during the major countrywide operation al-Fath, which rocked the whole city, comes as several Afghan and foreign officials were meeting in the PRT building in Kandahar city to discuss some of their matters.
The PRT building, where a large number of Afghans and Americans are stationed, is reported to have completely flattened.

Wednesday's incident, which comes after the bloodiest incidents of Kabul, Bagram and Paktia is one of the most successful and tactical attacks of its kind, causing the US and its allies deadliest losses and severest damage
