First to Cpl. Jeffrey Johnson thank you for your service to the United States of America, and the United States Marine Corps. You might be gone from this earth but not from our hearts. You will always be remembered. For those people who have anything bad to say about those men and women fighting for the United States....you can write it down on a piece of paper, and put it in an envelope and shove it up your @$$, and don't forget you can also leave the United States. Don't stand behind the freedom of speech. I wish their was an freedom of @$$ kicking admendment so that anyone who says anything bad about the United States can simply get a good @$$ kicking.
amen! If people don't like america and the army GET OUT. no one is stopping you!

Gen. G.S Patton once said "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. "
Rest in peace brother, you're with Chesty, Basilone and the countless other heroes now. Semper Fidelis.
My sincere condolences to his families, and May he have earned God's pleasure, and May he rest in peace.
"I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom." – Abraham Lincoln
You speak of cowardness!! when you guys kill your own poeple women and children in the name of God!!, and we send our brave marines to defend your poeple in the name of freedom!! as children of the real God!!. You fight like cowards just like you left this cowardly message. Mohammed was only a prophet that worked for the one true God....you guys worship Satan in disguise and are so stupid to realize it...why dont you fight like real warriors..take care of your own nation, and quit killing inocent people so we wont have to loose our brave men and women for your cowardly and pathetic nation and come back home
Amen to that I totally agree
Amen to that I totally agree with you Mike
"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem. President Ronald Reagan"
I would like to send out my sincere condolences to the family Sergeant Kenneth May and Corporal Jeffery Johnson our two fallen marines from 3/1. Semper Fi ... RIP from the Family of CPL Torres 3/1 H & H s Com... ..
To my son Cpl Torres 3/1 Com.. Stay Strong my son and know that you mission is just ...may God Bless you and all our troops
I just hope obama and elena kagan are not celebrating
THIS is not the place to post a political jab – at anyone, and how very arrogant for you to insinuate that ANYONE would be celebrate at the loss of a US Marine. Take a good look at yourself
Bravo! My son serves in US Marine Corp, he would have probably said the same, the arrogance! I sit here crying nonstop for these young brave soldiers. When we say the pledge of allegiance we say it with pride. These young men are not forced to be there. They want to serve our country at a very high price. I commend you and your family for teaching him good, strong values and knowing that he did what he wanted to do and sacrificed his life is an overwhelming action on his part. Thank you Jeffrey and my prayers are with your family.
A Marine died with honor. Missy, to you this means nothing. To those who served it matters. Have some class and show respect.
okay you are right
God bless .you Johnson family...que Dios los bendiga..
God bless you Corporal. Semper Fi, and enjoy those streets guarded by US Marines. Our nation sheds a tear for your family's loss, and breathes a sigh that because of you, war is not fought on her shores. Go with God, my son, your tour of duty is over here.
Semper fi Marine. My sincerest regards to those who are left behind.
My deepest sympathy to the Johnson family for their loss.
The few the proud, to vets and current soldiers stay strong get the job done. No soldier is ever forgotten. I am and will always be true to the red, white and blue. Go in peace my fallen but not forgotten Brother in arms. We Salute you.
My brother is a member of the 3-1, Weapons company and was a friend of Jeffery's. It is a terrible tragedy and I extend my deepest condolences to his friends and family. I know my family is deeply affected by the loss. I will keep him and all others serving abroad in my thoughts. My other brother currently is serving in OEF with the 173rd Airborne of the US Army and I hope that each of us not in harm's way keep those serving in their thoughts and recognize the sacrifices and losses we all feel.
Rest in Piece CPL Johnson....may God take care of you now while you look over your family. Semper Fi an Anchors Away brother.
I'm praying for your family and friends. May you serve well in Heaven. Semper Fi... and Thank you.
I pray that you did not suffer. I will remember your name forever. May God bring peace and ease the pain your family and friends will be feeling. ~ Mother of a "Thundering Third" ~
Fare winds and following seas Bro. May God ease the pain for your family. You will not be forgotten.
Sempher FI. thank-you for your service, my thoughts and prayers to you and your family. God has you now and forever.
I think what always gets to me the most is the age of the young men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice to keep our nation free. As a mother of a Army Sgt., who has served two tours of duty in Iraq and was awarded the Purple Heart both times. I can only imagine the grief that his family and friends are going through during this time. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers always. Thank you for your service to this nation of ours. The greatest tribute that we can give our soldiers is to respect one another, love our country and help our fellow man. Rest in peace.
We know you wanted to come home Jeffery, but not this way... You wanted to live and love... SEMPER FI Corporal Johnson.
Semper Fi Brother. Your sacrifice will be forever remembered by every Marine. Go easy brother.
rest in peace brother. SEMPER FI.
Rest with God brother. One way or another, we will leave here victorious. You are missed.
RIP brother you won't be forgotten, and all the Marines on here get home asap and i'll see you there next week
God Bless You CPL Johnson. You have given your life as a sacrifice so that we may live in freedom in America. Thank you for your sacrifice and your service. We will always remember you and pray for your family that loved you so much. As a fellow comrade I thank you along with the rest of America! God Bless you and your family and friends that are so proud of you. May God truly bless and save America! The land of the free, because of the brave!!!!
CPL Johnson: thank you for your ultimate sacrifice. You will always be remembered and honored.
Kudos to CNN for deciding for honoring Corporal Johnson, rather than write another story about the "tragic" death of some drug-addicted movie star. To CPL Johnson's family: Thank you for rasing a son who possessed enough courage and honor to voluntarily put himself in harms way for something greater than himself.
thank you, sir I could have not said it better and thank you for your service to our country. May God watch over and protect you and all our soldiers that are currently in harms way and to the members of our military.
My falmily and i greately appreciate the sacrifies u have mad and your family has made. Thanks to you and other soldiers who have fought and continue fighting, we can get up each morning and do what we wanna do. My kids can safely play in the yard. Thank you so much for everything you have dona, may you rest in peace. May god wrap his loving caring arms around this family and give them strength, understanding, and most of all my htis bring them closer to you God!! amen
I commend you for your sacrifice for your country. You have enabled those who despise what you stood for to continue to breathe the air that was taken from you by a "cowardly" enemy in the name of his religion. You did so willingly and your sacrifice will be rewarded by your Creator. You, and the many others that have given your lifes for a cause you believed in, are the real heroes and the people to be honored in this country – not the politicians, athletes and entertainers out youth looks up to. Our prayers are with your family and loved ones – God Bless YOU
Rest in peace my military brother.
From an old "Brit Vet" RIP Bro.

you're NOT AN FMF DOC!!! so stop pretending!!
ITS SEMPER FI'
So as a fiance of a United States Marine I am truly disappointed in Hamad's comment. This is truly a sad situation. You don't know what it is like until you are in the situation. Hamad you need to learn respect. That is so rude and disrespectful. My prayers are with Cpl Johnsons family and all the troops out there, not just the Marines. I have had mulitiple family members deployed during this war. My fiance's father is there now. This is disgusting. Cpl Johnson will never be forgotten. As for Hamad you will be. Semper Fidelis.
My deepest sympathy to Jeffrey's family.
Grateful for your blood, sweat and heroic commitment to keep this country free and very proud to call you one of her own. I am sending comforting thoughts to the Johnson family and continue to pray for all of our soilders and their families. God Bless You Jeffery and God bless America!!! Semper Fidelis
