Report: Arrested Americans planned to go to Afghanistan

Islamabad, Pakistan - Several American men arrested in Pakistan this week amid suspicion that they were plotting terrorist attacks planned to go to Afghanistan, a Pakistani police interrogation report said.

The report, dated Thursday, sheds more light on a case that led Pakistani police to arrest five Americans on Wednesday at a home in Sargodha, a town about 120 miles south of Islamabad.

The report carries details about the men and shows pictures of Internet sites, laptops, mobile phones, an iPod and an external hard drive seized by police.

How has there been no coverage of the Norwegian Lights? The Russian Military denied that it was one of their rockets outright, so please, delve into this at least a modicum!

And if it was a rocket, as seems to be the plea now, let's have them do it again... yes?

These guys look like they could be clasmates in my Biology Class or in my Calculus class. They look so innocent and almost nerd like. Yet they are very dangerous and capable of murdering hundreds of innocent people. I feel it is remarkable they were caught in the first place. Our forces and allies are doing a tremendous job !!

Considering Democracy is just mob rule by majority, yes. I would say they were capable of it.

Are they capable of having a representative republic where the law is higher than any majority? I do not think so.

What is Afghanistan? Is it one nation? And what defines one nation? I de fine it as an organism where when one part is hurt, all other parts feel the pain and rush to defend it, like a human body. It seems like Panjshir valley and Pakhtunistan in the south are not part of the same nation. So before one can think of democracy, one must think of nation formation (even before nation building) and only Afghans can do that. That is very similar to Pakistan before Bangladesh separated – there just was not one nation.
